British Transplant Games Success

Matt Burrows and Pam Lane have both been competing at the British Transplant Games in Wales this last week-end (25-28 July).

Pam had a fantastic meet taking the Gold in the 50m Backstroke, Silver in the 50m Freestyle and Bronze in the 50m Breaststroke. She was a little frustrated in the 100m Freestyle where she did a PB but missed the Bronze by 100th of a second! Still in great shape though for the World games next month.

Matt made a clean sweep with Golds in 50m Back, Breast and 50m & 100m Freestyle. He wasn’t delighted with his times but is confident that with the right balance of rest and training he will be in good shape for the World games next month in Newcastle.
