Another Bumper week-end for Barracudas

Wow! Some fantastic performances from our Micro A and Micro B Teams in their final league matches of the season in the North West Micro League. The only B Team in the division our team finished an amazing 4th overall with some fantastic swims. Our A team finished off the season with yet another victory to win Division A outright and qualify for the National final in Corby in November. Some amazing performances from all our swimmers and thanks to our wonderful coaches, volunteers and spectators. A great team effort as always.

Meanwhile we also had eight swimmers competing in the Swim England North West Open Water Championships in Sale. We had Henry Hodkinson in his first attempt at open water (14/15yrs 3k) taking a fantastic Silver medal and Leo Taylor (19 years 5k) taking Silver medal; Beth Adam, Bella Grimbaldeston & Caitlin Corrigan (14/15 yrs 3k) taking 4th, 7th & 8th respectively; Niamh Corrigan and Elsa Thomson (12/13 yrs 2k) taking 5th and 12th places respectively; and Tom Jepson 6th in the16yrs 5k event. Henry, Leo, and Beth all qualifying for the national finals in late July.
