Barracudas splashing it with the best

Head Coach, Ste Davison said it was a great week down in London at the Aquatic GB Olympic Trials which saw us have two swimmers in Pia Murray and Amelie Elliott competing, Both did a great job, certainly doing themselves and the club proud and it certainly created lots of excitement back home with parents, coaches and swimmers tuning into the live feeds to watch them compete – a fantastic inspiration.

Pia finished 6th in the 100m back, 5th in the 200m back and 11th in the 100m fly, Amelie moved herself up from 84th in to 68th in the 100m Breaststroke. Ste said “it’s a great achievement to have qualified for this competition, especially in Olympic Year, and both our swimmers did a great job.”
