County championships this weekend

The 2022 Age Group and Championships will take place over the next three weekends (starting Saturday and Sunday 22 and 23 January).

All three weekends will be at Liverpool Aquatics Centre and due to limited space there will be no spectators but the event will be live streamed.

The event is open to clubs from the old Lancashire county boundary so swimmers will be competing against athletes from the likes of Liverpool, Rochdale, Stretford, Prescot and Oldham. Successful swimmers would ordinarily gain selection to be part of the county team taking part in an inter-counties events but these have been on hold due to Covid.

It is a long course (50m pool) event and qualifying times must be achieved for all those taking part.

You can view the latest information and download the programme for the first two days here. That webpage will also have a link to the live stream at the weekend.
