Doing us proud in the Arena

Saturday saw our two Arena teams competing across the North West in finals.

Our A Team travelled to Darwen to swim against Middlesbrough, Holywell, Cosacss, Carnforth, Burnley Bobcates, Blackburn and Halton in the Division 1 A Final. With a fantastic team performance and great crowd support they finished in a fantastic 2nd place behind Middlesbrough and gained promotion back into the Premier Division. A job well done by everyone!

Our B Team travelled to Kendal to compete in the Division 2 B Final again Flixton, Liverpool Penguins, Buckley and Horwich. With some great swims they finished in 3rd place and retained their position in Division 2. It is a credit to the club’s continuing commitment to support two teams in such a prestigious league and a credit to the swimmers to perform so well against other club A teams to retain their position in Division 2.
