On Saturday 1st June our Senior A team travelled to Blackpool to compete in the last of 3 North Lancashire league matches.  Competing against strong teams from Preston, Blackpool, Carnforth, Accrington (Pioneer 79), Kendal and Chorley the team finished a very creditable 4th gaining their best points total of the season.

The 12/under girls put in some great performances with Ella Blundell winning the 50m freestyle with a strong swim, Hannah Morris winning the 50 metre backstroke and coming a close second in the 50 metre fly with the 12 year old girls also achieved first and second in their two relays which included a PB for Georgia Brocklebank in the 50 metre freestyle relay.  Whilst the 14/under boys won the 50 metre freestyle relay with PBs for both Max Delaney and Jack Hepplestone to secure first place in an exciting race!
